The picture you see there is the real me. It was important for me to make sure you can see me for who I really am.
Just like you, I am a busy mom, and a wife, trying to balance out my life. I am a homeschool mom, so my day is normally full of activities that usually have to do with my kids.
My biggest challenges in life are living on a budget and staying organized! With five boys and living on one income life can get pretty hectic. So, I am always striving to be better in this area of my life.
A few years ago, I took a real estate course to become a Real Estate Agent ( I thought that was what I wanted to be when I grew up. 🙂 ). Then I married my wonderful husband and when our first son was born, I wanted him all to myself. I wanted to be the one who raised him. So we decided I would stay home.
Flashforward 10 years, we now have 5 boys and we are in the process of adopting a sweet girl from Eastern Europe. Somehow we have still managed to survive on one income.
Living on one income hasn’t been easy, we have had our share of emergencies and financial struggles. I have also learned a few lessons about making money and saving money along the way.
Finally, about a year ago I discovered blogging and fell in love with it! This is the perfect outlet for me to share my tips and tricks about life, homeschooling, and money with moms like you!
